Practice Standards

Practice Standards Lead – Stuart Smellie FRCC (Ed), MRCC (Pain)

Chiropractic Practice Standards are evidence-based documents that address key aspects of clinical practice and define the standards expected of UK registered chiropractors. They provide a benchmark for normal practice, by highlighting the requirements and expectations, and providing detailed guidance on how to comply with them.

Chiropractic Practice Standards are designed to support chiropractors to meet their obligations for delivering high-quality patient care and upholding professional standards.

The RCC Chiropractic Practice Standards are promoted by the General Chiropractic Council and are incorporated into the undergraduate education of chiropractors.
