Royal College of Chiropractors Bursaries for Studies in Research Methods, Evidence-Based Practice, Clinical Audit and Service Improvement
To date, The Royal College of Chiropractors has provided more than £30k of funding to support chiropractors’ postgraduate studies on the topics of Research Methods, Evidence-based Practice and Clinical Audit.
We are pleased to announce that up to 6 bursaries, each worth up to £660, are available for the 2024/25 academic year to enable RCC members to register for Masters-level modules in these topics – either as stand-alone modules or as part of an M-level award (MSc, MRes etc) – at a greatly reduced cost to themselves.
New for this year is the addition of Service Improvement as a topic for postgraduate study that we will help to fund. Applicants can identify any suitable M-level module offered by any higher education institution thus ensuring maximum flexibility in terms of where, when and how they study.
In addition to the value of acquiring and applying new knowledge and skills to clinical practice, the benefits of undertaking one of these modules include:
- Access to the relevant University’s library facilities and resources for up to six months
- M-level credits towards RCC membership progression
- CPD-hours to satisfy statutory requirements
- M-level credits towards a PGCert, PGDip or MSc qualifications should applicants wish to extend their studies (if the module is part of an academic award)
The call for applications for the 2024/25 academic year is now open; the application form and rules can be downloaded here:

The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Thursday 31 October 2024.
