RCC Chiropractic Research Assistant Grant

The RCC is pleased to announce £51k of funding (up to £17k per year for 3 years) towards the cost of a full-time Research Assistantship at a UK institution between 2024 and 2027.

The RCC Research Assistant Grant is intended to fund up to three days of protected research time per week for a Chiropractic Research Assistant employed full-time by the applying institution for a three-year period. The grant will be made on the condition that the individual appointed to the post will (a) have a total of four days’ protected research time each week dedicated to a specific research project that addresses one or more of the RCC’s priority areas for research, (b) will spend the fifth day undertaking an education/clinical role, and (c) will be registered for a PhD with the aim that this will be substantially completed within the 3-year term of the post.

Applications are now invited from UK Higher Education Institutions for this grant. Funding decisions will be based on the quality and feasibility of the proposed research, the extent to which it addresses the RCC’s priority research areas (listed below), the background and expertise of the supervisor/s and the suitability of the study environment.
